Enterprise onboarding follows a structured process, including agreement review, admin setup, training, and employee onboarding. Most companies transition from agreement to their first Meal Manager order within a few weeks, though timelines may vary based on company size and number of locations.
With Meal Manager, companies fund meals through a centrally managed budget that covers each employee's order up to a set amount. Employees can pay for anything beyond that subsidy using a personal card. This is different from DoorDash Expensed Meal Credits, which give individual employees a flexible budget to order on their own schedule.
Meal Manager is built for scheduled, recurring workplace meals: daily or weekly lunches, team breakfasts, and regular events like all-hands meetings. Companies can schedule multiple Meal Manager restaurant options per day, and employees can place their orders up to 7 days in advance or as close as 2.5 hours before expected delivery.
Admins have the ability to change restaurant options to any of our vetted options the week prior. Order size limits are dependent on your office size and requirements.
DoorDash Meal Manager uses vetted restaurants committed to delivering group orders reliably. We use your office’s preferences to generate weekly calendars with a variety of great local options.
Meal Manager is designed to scale across teams and locations. Multiple admins within the same company can manage separate Meal Manager programs for different offices, each with their own restaurant selection, schedules, and budgets. Enterprise accounts include dedicated onboarding during the first 60 days, along with ongoing support by phone, chat, or email. A built-in support line lets admins connect with the team without leaving the platform, while proactive support monitors orders to help resolve issues in real time. Optional dedicated on-site support is also available to assist with building access, meal receipt, and order organization.
